1-5:1C.3. Christ Jesus Is The Lord Of All

( i ) In His last debate with the Pharisees ( Matthew 22:41-44 ) Jesus used Psalm 110:1-2 to prove to them not only that He is the Christ who in His Manhood has biophysically descended THROUGH, ( yet that Manhood of Jesus is NOT DERIVED FROM the seed- lineage of ) David but also that even before or prior to the incarnation and Perfect Manhood of Christ Jesus He is already the Lord ( Adon ) of David ( Psalm 110:1-2 ) and the SINGULAR, PERSONAL and DIRECTLY SELF- REVEALING LORD ( YAHWEH ) God ( Elohim ) of Israel ( Psalm 140:6-7 ) and the LORD ( YAHWEH ) of Hosts ( John 12:36-41; Isaiah 6:1-5; I Corinthians 10:1-4; Isaiah 44:6-8 ).

( ii ) Christ Jesus as the SINGULAR, PERSONAL and DIRECTLY SELF- REVEALING LORD ( YAHWEH ) of Hosts ( Sabaoth ) is Biblically revealed as follows: He is the ONE who laid His hand of great acts of judgment upon Egypt to bring the sons of Israel out of it ( Exodus 7:4; 12:41-42, 51 ); He is the SINGULAR, PERSONAL and DIRECT OBJECT- ADDRESSEE of Israel’s worship, sacrifice ( I Samuel 1:3 ), vows and prayers ( I Samuel 1:11; II Samuel 7:27 ) at Shiloh; He is the Lord God enthroned upon the cherubim of the ark of the covenant ( I Samuel 4:4; II Samuel 6:2 ); He is the SINGULAR PERSON who ordered the extermination of the Amalekites for obstructing the passage of Israel into the Promise Land ( I Samuel 15:2 ); He is the ONE in whose NAME David prevailed against Goliath ( I Samuel 17:45 ); the God of hosts that made David greater and greater ( II Samuel 5:10; 7:4-9; I Chronicles 11:9; 17:7, 24 ); it is He in whose NAME Israel is blessed ( II Samuel 6:18 ); He is the SINGULAR, PERSONAL and DIRECTLY SELF- REVEALING LORD God of Elijah and Elisha ( I Kings 18:15; 19:10-17; II Kings 3:14 ); He is the King of glory ( Psalm 24:10 ), the God of Jacob, the refuge, the strength and the present help of the Godly even IN TROUBLE ( Psalms 46:1-11; 59:1-17 ); He is the establisher of the everlasting city [ Psalm 48:8 ]; He is the Upholder of His faithful but unintentionally mistaken servant, when that servant, is being maligned by the wicked whom the said servant has not wronged ( Psalms 69:1-36 ); He is the Shepherd of Israel and the one who with SHINING FACE and IN JUDGMENT is coming to save, restore and give life to His faithful ones ( Psalm 80:1-19 ); blessed is the man who TRUSTS IN Him ( Psalm 84:1-12 ); He has founded the earth, and, He rules the raging of the sea; He is the Father of David and the Rock of His Salvation whom the faithful should bless forever in spite of all the adversities in the world, the persecutions and slander of the wicked ( Psalms 89:1-52; 103:1-22; 148:1-14 ); He preserves the remnants of His people ( Isaiah 1:9 ); He is the Lord ( Adon ) and Mighty ONE of Israel who avenges Himself of His foes ( Isaiah 1:24; 2:12-21; 3:1-15; 5:7-15; 10:16, 23, 24, 33; 13:4, 13; 14:22, 23, 24, 27; 17:1-14; 29:6 ); He IS EXALTED IN JUSTICE and SHOWS HIMSELF IN RIGHTEOUSNESS ( Isaiah 5:16-30 ); Isaiah saw Him sitting upon a throne ( Isaiah 6:1-5; John 12:38-41 ); He is to be regarded as HOLY and He must be the FEAR ( John 2:1-19 ) and the DREAD of everyone in all of creation ( Isaiah 8:13 ); it is His zeal that does His covenant promises ( Isaiah 9:7; 37:32 ); through His wrath the land is burned [ Isaiah 9:19; 10:16-17]; He will complete His works in all the nations of the earth ( Isaiah 10:1-34 ); He will destroy the wicked destroyers of the wicked ( Isaiah 13:1-22 ); as He planned so shall it be and as He purposed so shall it stand ( Isaiah 14:22-27 ); He will swallow up death forever, wipe away tears from all eyes and take away the reproach from HIS people ( Isaiah 25:6-8 ); He is the crown of glory, the diadem of beauty, the spirit of justice, the strength of His own people ( Isaiah 28:5-6 ); to Him JUSTICE is the LINE and righteousness is the plummet ( Isaiah 28:17 ); He ALONE is the God of all the kingdoms of the earth and the MAKER of the heavens and the earth; and He is the high and lofty One who inhabits eternity, whose name is HOLY; and from Him proceeds the spirit and it is He who made the breath of life; He also dwells with and revives the spirit/heart of the contrite ( Isaiah 37:14-35; 57:1-16 ); He says, identifies and claims Himself not only as the Rock and the Redeemer of Israel but also as the SINGULAR, PERSONAL and DIRECTLY SELF- REVEALING absolute “I am the FIRST and I am the LAST; besides ME there is no God” who has declared from of old the things to come ( Isaiah 44:6-8 ); He is the God of Israel ( Isaiah 48:2 ) who asserts, reveals and claims that “I AM HE, I AM the FIRST, and I AM the LAST, MY hand laid the foundation of the earth and MY right hand spread out the heavens; when I call to them they stand forth together” ( Isaiah 48:12-13 ); He is the Husband of His own people ( Isaiah 54:5-8 ); it is He who formed all things and besides Him there is no righteous God neither a Savior ( Isaiah 45:1-23; Jeremiah 10:1-16; Jeremiah 51:1-10; Amos 4:13; 9:5-6; Titus 2:13-14 ) who is judging righteously and trying the heart and mind ( Jeremiah 11:20; 20:12 ); He is the Lord God who “has sworn by Himself” ( Amos 6:8 ); to Him shall bow down, in each place, all the lands of the nations ( Zephaniah 2:1-11 ); He stirred the spirits of the people to work for Him ( Haggai 1:1-14; 2:1-23 ); He establishes reciprocal relationship between Him and other persons ( Zechariah 1:1-6; 8:14-23 ); many nations/peoples will join Him ( Zechariah 2:10-11 ); it is He who gave the law and the words which He had sent by His Spirit through the prophets ( Zechariah 7:8-14; Nehemiah 9:5-33 ); He is the King whom everyone shall annually worship in Jerusalem during the millennium ( Zechariah 14:6-9, 16 ); everywhere pure offering is offered in His Name ( Malachi 1:11 ); He is not only coming to earth but He is going to appear to His own people ( Malachi 3:1-2 ); and He came as Christ Jesus, the Lord God the Son incarnate and Perfect Man ( John 1:1-18; Philippians 2:1-11; Hebrews Chapter 1-2; I Timothy 3:16; Romans 9:1-33; James 5:1-8 ).

( iii ) Through the Holy Spirit- inspired proclamation of Peter ( Acts 10:36 ) and Paul ( Romans 10:1-13 ) it is being revealed, asserted and claimed by Jesus that He is the Lord of all. The over all or universal Lordship of God the Son is not only in terms of the Son’s Eternal Sovereignty ( Hebrews 1:8 ) and rule over the heavens and the earth ( Hebrews 1:8-12 ) but also in terms of the Son’s Person ( as God- Man ), capability and achievements meriting the Name Jesus, the name that is above ALL Names, so that IN ( bounded, owned and conditioned by ) the NAME of Jesus every knee in the heavens, on the earth and under the earth shall bow ( surrender, agree and worship ) and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ IS Lord to the glory of God the Father ( Philippians 2:9-11 ). Since it is part of Jesus’ SELF- REVELATION and SELF- IDENTITY and SELF- CLAIM that He is the Lord of lords ( Revelation 17:14; 19:16 ), therefore, He is also thereby claiming that He is the LORD God not only of Israel ( Deuteronomy 10:12-22 ) but also of all the worlds ( Isaiah 66:1, 2, 22, 23; Hebrews 1:8-12; Revelation 21:1-8 ). However, Jesus in His Lordship demands that everyone in all of creation should keep on coming to Him ( John 3:35; 6:37; Matthew 11:27-28; Isaiah 66:22-23 ), continue hearing His words ( Matthew 17:1-5; John 10:25-28; Revelation 3:20 ) and completely do what He is telling them to do ( John 8:29-32; 15:1-7; Luke 6:46-49 ).

Essentially, officially and actually the Lordship of Jesus Christ includes His being the Singular, Personal and Directly Self- Revealing YAHWEH ( the Ever Living [ I John 1:1-3; 5:20, 9-13; Romans 6:23 ], Never Changing [ Hebrews 1:8-12; 13:8; John 8:58] and Always True [ John 14:6; 1:14] and Faithful [ Revelation 3:14; I John 1:9; Hebrews 3:1-14] ONE [ Zechariah 14:9 ] ) who is the ADON ( the owner, occupant- possessor, ruler [ Romans 14:7-18; Colossians 3:23-25], and Master [ Matthew 6:24; 4:10; John 12:26; Colossians 3:21-23; Ephesians 6:1-24; Revelation 22:3-5 ] of all of creation and the spiritual husband of His people [ Isaiah 54:5-8; Hosea 2:16-23; Romans Chapter 7; Ephesians 5:21-33; I Corinthians 6:12-17; Revelation 19:6-16 ] ) and the only Sovereign Lord ( DESPOTA, in Greek, II Peter 2:1; Acts 4:24; Jude 4 ) of all who are rightfully His own.

( v ) God the Son, Christ Jesus, in His Lordship, being the Singularly, Personally and Directly Self- Revealing LORD ( YAHWEH ) God ( Elohim, Exodus 3:1-18 ) is the LORD ( YAHWEH ) who appeared, spoke, called on to and covenanted with Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Moses and Israel ( Exodus 6:1-8; 15:26; Chapters 19-20 ). So it is the LORD ( YAHWEH, Adon, Kyrios ) God ( Elohim ) the Son, Christ Jesus, who made, gave and fulfilled the LAW ( TORAH ) which He communicated and required to and through Moses ( Exodus Chapters 19-20; John 1:16-17; Matthew 5:17-18; Romans 10:1-4 ). God the Son, Christ Jesus, is also the covenant- making, covenant- giving and the covenant- fulfilling LORD ( YAHWEH, Adon, Kyrios ) God ( Elohim ) throughout the Bible and in all ages ( e.g. Genesis 2:15-17; 3:14-19; Chapters 6 to 9:17; 12:1-3; 22:14; Exodus 15:26; Judges 6:24; Psalm 23:1; Jeremiah 23:6, etc… ).

( vi ) Jesus ( YAHWEH SHUA or YEHOSHUA ) is the LORD ( YAHWEH ) who is the SALVATION of the Old Testament people as proclaimed, appropriated and recorded in the law ( Exodus 15:1-2 ), the Psalms ( Psalm 27:1; 62:1-2, 5-6 ) and the prophets ( Isaiah 12:1-2; Jeremiah 3:23 ). The SALVATION of the New Testament people is through the Lord Jesus Christ ( I Thessalonians 5:9 ). Jesus Himself and ALONE is Salvation ( Acts 4:12; Luke 19:1-10 ). Christ Jesus is the Lord of all history ( Hebrews 1:8-12; Genesis Chapters 2 to 50; Nehemiah Chapter 9; Acts 10:36; Romans 10:1-13; 14:7-9 ). Throughout history Jesus is the Salvation of all of His adherents ( II Timothy 1:8-10 ). However, throughout history Christ Jesus is also the absolutely just Lord God of all and as such He renders justice to everyone in all of reality not only by ( A ) fulfilling the will of God the Father ( II Corinthians 1:19-20 ), ( B ) giving due course to the disposition of God the Holy Spirit ( John 14:26; 15:26; 16:7-15 ) and ( C ) sustaining all of those who submit, commit, subject, conform and devote their all to Him who is their Over ALL HEAD, GOOD SHEPHERD and ALL in all ( John 10:27-28; Ephesians 1:3-23; 4:7-16; Colossians 3:11; John 1:12-17 ) but also by ( D ) condemning to spiritual death ( Genesis 2:15-17; Ezekiel 18:1-4; Romans 5:12; 6:23 ) and endless torments in the lake of fire ( Revelation 21:8, 27; 22:15; Matthew 25:41, 46 ) all of those who are NOT directly, exclusively and permanently ALL from, on, in, through, with, to and for Jesus ( Matthew 12:30; John 3:18-21, 36; 15:6 ). So under the over all Lordship of Jesus either you, by your own total self- determination, are already Biblically aiming at, going straight to and fully appropriating the ETERNAL SALVATION, ETERNAL LIFE and ETERNAL GLORY of ( from, on, in, through, with, to and for ) Christ Jesus or you, by your own total self- determination, are already consigning yourself to the damnation of the unsaved and the children of the devil in the lake of fire ( John 8:48; 3:18-21, 36; Revelation 21:8 ) because you are totally against or you are merely partially from, partially on, partially in, partially through, partially with, partially to and partially for Christ Jesus, the SINGULAR, PERSONAL and DIRECTLY SELF- REVEALING LORD ( YAHWEH, Adon, Kyrios ) God ( Elohim ) the Son who being the LORD ( YAHWEH, Adon, Kyrios ) God ( El ) Almighty ( Shaddai ) is always functioning as ALL in all even in His incarnation and Perfect Manhood. Everyone in all of creation, by his/her/its own choice, is going through ONLY ONE of these two courses/ways of life: the way of the righteous or the way of the wicked, cf. Psalms 1:1-6 ( which is equivalent to any one and everyone of the following alternatives: the path of faithful obedience or the path of disobedience [ cf. Deuteronomy Chapters 27-28]; walking in the light or walking in the darkness [ cf. John 8:12; I John 1:7 ]; in the company of ALL liars [ Revelation 21:8 ] or adhering to ALL THE TRUTH [ John 16:7-15; II Corinthians 13:8], under the over all Lordship of Jesus who justly renders to everyone whatever is due to him/her/it. For according to the Christological, Christoregulated and Christocentric teaching of the entire Bible, all things are under the Headship [ Ephesians 1:3-23 ], channeled through the Mediatorship [ I Corinthians 8:6; Colossians 1:16; John 1:3 ] and subjected to the absolutely righteous [ Hebrews 1:8-9 ] Judgeship of Jesus [ John 5:22; Hebrews 1:8 ] ).

( vii ) Since, all things are channeled or coursed or came to pass only through the ONE Lord Jesus Christ ( I Corinthians 8:6 ), therefore, whatever is not COURSED through Him does not exist ( John 1:3 ). According to Jesus whatever exists but is separated from Him is not only malfunctional but non- functional ( John 15:5 ). In fact, whoever is not remaining in Jesus is spiritually dead and will be thrown into the lake of fire ( John 15:6; Matthew 25:41, 46; Revelation 21:8 ). If you detached yourself from Jesus then you are detached from God and you have consigned yourself to damnation ( John 3:18, 36; Revelation 21:8 ). For the entire Personal Agency and/or functions and/or works of the Lord Jesus Christ is the Personal Agency and/or function and/or work of His being God Himself, and, since it is acknowledged by God the Father ( Hebrews 1:8-12 ) and by God the Holy Spirit ( Acts 10:36 ) that Christ Jesus IS God ( Hebrews 1:8 ) and the Lord of all ( Romans 10:1-12; 14:7-9 ), and, since the Almighty Lord God the Son, Christ Jesus, Himself is not only working for and in behalf and/or as a representative and/or as a voluntary minister/servant- worker of God the Father but the Lord Jesus Christ as God the Son is always co- equal ( John 5:18; Philippians 2:5-6 ), co- purposer ( Ephesians 3:9-11 ) and co- working ( John 5:19 ) WITH God the Father, therefore, the Personal Agency and/or function and/or work of Jesus is voluntarily, absolutely and uniquely His own and not merely masterminded by neither just as an instrument of God the Father. In all reality the Mediatorial- High Priestly- Intercessory functions of God the Son in His Godhood and/or in His perfectly incarnated Godhood are functions which God the Father attributed to and proclaimed about God the Son not on the basis of the Father’s appointment of or designation for the Son but on the basis of God the Son’s INDISSOLUBLE or ABSOLUTE, and, therefore ETERNAL LIFE ( Hebrews 7:16; I John 5:20; John 1:3; 14:16 ). However, since Christ Jesus, the Singular, Personal and Directly Self- Revealing LORD ( YAHWEH, Adon, Kyrios ) God ( Elohim ) the Son is always functioning as ALL in all not only in His own capacity, rights and prerogatives as God ( El ) Almighty ( Shaddai ), but also as the Christ/Anointed and the SENT ONE of God the Father and with the ANOINTING by/through God the Holy Spirit, therefore, whatever is rendered to Jesus viz. the ANOINTED and SENT ONE, is thereupon, thereby, therein and therefore already rendered to God the Father, viz. the ONE who orders the ANOINTING and the SENDING of the Son, by/through God the Holy Spirit, i.e. the ANOINTING APPLIED or GIVEN to God the Son is God the Holy Spirit Himself. For God the Father has already GIVEN all of Himself and all of all to His OWN Beloved Son ( John 16:15; 17:10-24; 3:35; Matthew 11:27 ). So all of those who are not giving ALL of their ALL to Jesus are not only contravening the ALL FOR JESUS disposition and incurring the wrath and curse of God the Father but they are also doing injustice to and opposing the ALL FOR JESUS ministries ( John 16:7-15 ) of God the Holy Spirit.
