Mga Kapasubalian Na Dapat Tupdin Ng Mga Banal Sa Panginoong Jesucristo

Mga Kapasubalian Na Dapat Tupdin Ng Mga Banal Sa Panginoong Jesucristo

Rev. 14:12

Here in the of Book of Revelation, God is revealing to us things which must shortly come to pass. Paano?
  2. Iyong Dios Ama. Doon sa Book of Revelation, naroon iyong ultimate picture of how God reveals things which must shortly come to pass. The Book of Revelation is a book on the last days. Sinasabi sa Rev. 1:1, “The revelation of Jesus Christ which God gave unto Him to show unto His servants things which must

shortly come to pass.” (Matt. 17:5)

  3. Iyong Dios Espirito Santo. At sa Rev. 1:9-11 ay sinasabi ni Apostol Juan, “I, John, your brother in tribulation and in patience and in the kingdom of Jesus Christ , was in the isle of Patmos for the word of God and the testimony of Jesus Christ. I was in the Spirit on the Lord’s day and heard behind me a great voice, as of a trumpet, saying, “I am Alpha and Omega, the first and the last: and, What thou seest, write in a book, and send it unto the seven churches which are in Asia; unto Ephesus, and unto Smyrna, and unto Pergamos, and unto Thyatira, and unto Sardis, and unto Philadelphia, and unto Laodicea.” Therefore, it was the Holy Spirit who gave the enablement to John to be able to perceive and write what the Lord Jesus Christ was revealing to him. Ito ang sinasabi ni Apostol Pedro sa 2Pe 1:21, “For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.”
  4. Iyong Dios Anak. On the other hand, ang Holy Spirit ay hindi mangungusap patungkol sa Kaniyang sarili kundi yaon lamang sinabi ng Panginoong Jesucristo and Kaniyang ipapahayag. (Jn. 14:26 – the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you; 15:26 – even the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of me.) Kaya ang sinasabi ng Banal na Espirito (Heb. 3:7; 4:7 – Today (today is everyday) when you hear His voice, harden not your hearts.) Hindi sinasabi ng Holy Spirit, “Hear my voice” kundi “Hear His voice,” samakatuwid, ang salita ni Jesus. How do we hear the voice of Jesus?

  1. they keep the commandments of God; iniingatan nila ang mga kautusan ng Dios
  2. they keep the faith of Jesus; iniingatan nila ang pananampalataya ni Jesus.
  3. They keep the commandments of God. Ang daminiyanngunit ang buod ng mga commandments (more than 600) ay mgaito:
  4. God the Father’s commandment. Joh 12:50 “And I know that his commandment is life everlasting: (whatsoever I speak therefore, even as the Father said unto me, so I speak.)” 1Jn 3:23 “And this is his commandment, That we should believe on the name of his Son Jesus Christ…”God the Father’s commandment is for everyone to have eternal life by believing on the name of Jesus. That eternal life is available only in the Lord Jesus Christ because He is the the true God and eternal life.1Jn 5:11-12, 20 “And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life…And we know that the Son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we may know him that is true, and we are in him that is true, even in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and eternal life.”
  5. God the Son’s commandment is summarized in loving Jesus, i.e., keeping His commandment is loving Him. (Jn. 14:21; cf. 1 Cor. 16:22; Eph. 6:24)
  6. God the Spirit’s commandment is two-pronged:

1)   The Spirit’s ministry towards the world is to bring everyone to believe in the Lord Jesus because every work of unrighteousness is but an exercise in futility for the “prince of this world” has been judged and the power of evil has been nullified. (Jn. 16:7-11 – a man does not sin because he steals. Even before he steals he is a already a sinner. How can he be saved from sin? Jn. 3:16-18For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.; Psa 51:5  Behold, I was shapen in iniquity; and in sin did my mother conceive me.)

2)   Jn. 16:12-15.The Spirit’s ministry towards the disciples and followers or adherents of the Lord Jesus Christ is to lead them to the truth and that truth is the Lord Jesus Christ because He is the way, the truth and the life (Jn 14:6). How does the Holy Spirit lead believers to the Lord Jesus? The Holy Spirit does not speak of Himself, but whatsoever He shall hear that shall He speak, therefore, His commandment is, “Today, when you hear His voice, harden not your hearts…” (Not the Spirit’s voice but the voice of the Son.) But how do we hear the voice of Jesus?(Jn. 10:26-27)First, you become His sheep by believing Jesus. When you are His sheep, you can hear His voice.  And when you hear His voice, follow Him and do not harden your heart.  “Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, ‘If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed; And ye shall know the truth(Jesus), and the truth shall make you free(from the bondage of sin).’”  (Jn 8:31-32)

He has the first and the last word. His word is final, it will not change, for He is the same yesterday, today and forever. So you cannot escape Jesus and His word. Joh 12:48 He that rejects me, and receiveth not my words, hath one that judgeth him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day.
  2. How then do we keep the commandments of God, i.e., the commandment of the Father and the commandment of the Son and the commandment of the Holy Spirit? The commandments of God is summarized as follows: Receive everlasting life by believing on the name of Jesus Christ, hearken to His words and follow Him.
  3. Keeping the Faith of Jesus. Sa 1 Tim 6:12, sinasabi ni Pablo, “Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life…” Sa 2Ti 4:7, noong malapit nang mamatay si Pablo, isa sa mga sinasabi niya ay, “I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith.” Ito ay kasabihan ng mga unang Cristiyano especially during the height of the terrible persecutions inflicted against them by the Roman Empire.
  4. Anong pananampalataya ang iniingatan? Pansinin ang preposition o pang-ukol na “of” sa pangungusap na “they keep the faith of Jesus” o “pananampalataya ni Jesus”. Ano ang pananampalataya ni Jesus? Ito ay pananampalataya na buhat kay Jesus. Sa Heb. 12:2 (looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him, endured the cross, despising the shame and is now set down on the right hand of the throne of God), the forerunner, the pioneer, the founder as well as the completer, perfecter, fulfiller of our faith is the Lord Jesus Christ. The author and source of our faith is the Lord Jesus Christ. Thus saith the LORD; “Cursed be the man that trusteth in man, and maketh flesh his arm, and whose heart departeth from the LORD…Blessed is the man that trusteth in the LORD, and whose hope the LORD is.” (Jer 17:5, 7)
(Gal. 1:8-9, 11)

1)   Check-up: Anong pananampalataya ang iniingatan mo? (1Jn 5:9, 11-12 If we receive the witness of men, the witness of God is greater: for this is the witness of God which he hath testified of his Son…And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life; Rom 3:4 Let God be true, but every man a liar.)

2)   The ultimate and the only valid source of our faith as defined and identified in accordance to the written word of God, the Bible. is the Lord Jesus Christ. If Jesus is not the author of your faith, Jesus cannot be the fulfillment of your faith. You shall not depart, you shall not deviate but keep the faith of Jesus.

Tignan mo ang halimbawa ng buhay ng mga heroes of faith (bayani ng pananampalataya) sa Hebrews chapter 11 na mga saints that were “mocked and scourged, stoned, sewn asunder, slain with a sword and wandered about in sheepskin and goatskin and wandered in deserts and in mountains all having obtained a good report but received not the promised.

Ano iyan dayaan? No, because though heaven and earth shall pass away, the words of Jesus shall not pass away. His words shall stand forever. (Matt 24:35; Isa 40:8) In our final state in the new heavens and new earth ay sinasabi na “And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.” (Rev 21:4) In the final analysis, it is incomparably better to not be healed on earth physically on your way to heaven than to be healed physically on your way to hell. For we live and die as a believer in the Lord Jesus Christ.(Rom 14:8)[1] Ang pananampalataya ni Job ay hindi mapuksa ng kamatayan noong sabihin niya, “though God will slay me, yet will I trust in Him.” Kahit Dios, ire-respeto ng Panginoon ang ating absolute trust and faith in Him. Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, the Master of impossibilities. Exercise your faith to the utmost possibility-“fight the good fight of faith,”then nothing is impossible to them who believe and keep the faith of Jesus.

  1. Insights in keeping the faith of Jesus. In Heb. 12:2, Jesus is the finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross despising the shame. He has crossed the finish line. Where is He now? He is seated on the right hand of the throne of God. He wants us to endure trials and difficulties.“For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin.” (Heb 4:15) He is saying, I went through what you are going through and I know what you are going through. I will be with you all the way and I know best to deliver you that you come out victorious.
  2. How did Jesus endure the cross and despise the shame that He may bring into fulfillment the salvation of the world? It was the joy that was set before Him. What joy is that? I know one thing for sure. The joy that Jesus saw beyond all the sufferings was you and me. He saw us. He saw you and me. He was willing to go to the cross to pay for your sin and my sin because He saw the joy of being with us in His glory forever and ever. He looked beyond the pain and the shame of the cross and He saw the joy of the victory of bringing many sons with him to glory to make the captain of their salvation perfect through sufferings. (Heb 2:10)
  3. When we go through difficulties, do not look on the sufferings, but look beyond the sufferings because the Lord is doing something for you and for me. He is preparing you for His glory. Nagkaroon kami ng meeting sa NGO-Transformed Lives Initiative with the vision of seeing Filipino children develop their utmost potential applying Biblical teaching and principles. Ico at Sis. Dolly, Sis. Luisa, Sis. Ampy, Sis. Norma, Bro. Mahirap magluto at magpakain. Psa126:5 “They that sow in tears shall reap in joy.” When you go through hardship in our life here on earth, look at Jesus who is saying, look at the joy prepared before you. Jesus is the same yesterday, today and forever (Rev. 13:8) . If Jesus got those saints through in Hebrews chap. 11, He will also get you through your difficulties.
  4. Life on earth is already tough even with Jesus on board. How much more difficult and impossible it would be without Jesus. Kaya kung hindi ka pa nagtatalaga kay Jesus, wala kang magagawa for without Him you cannot do anything. As the song goes,“If Jesus carried the world on His shoulder, He can carry yours.”Obey the commanments of God, believe in Jesus, keep the faith of Jesus, commit your all to Him and He will keep you unto the day of His coming. (2 Tim. 1:12)

The LORD bless thee, and keep thee:

The LORD make his face shine upon thee, and be gracious unto thee:

The LORD lift up his countenance upon thee, and give thee peace. (Num 6:24-26)
