The Lifework of the Lord Jesus Christ
The Biblical once and for all lifework-ministry/service-accomplishments of Christ Jesus, the Almighty Lord God the Son incarnate and Perfect Man, on earth include, among so many others, the following very significant basic and indispensable features:
(1) His Manhood went through birth, infancy, childhood, adolescence, youth and adulthood in very humble, poor and adverse circumstances (II Cor.8:9; Phil.2:1-8); to be known well as “the carpenter” (Mk.6:3) the Manhood of Jesus must have been a sturdy, proficient/accomplished/very skillfull and industrious craftsman;
(2) on the twelfth (12th) year of His Manhood Jesus’ understanding of and answers to QUESTIONS were already amazing to the very learned men and teachers in the temple (Lk.2:46-47);
(3) Luke 2:51-52 revealed-taught that from the twelfth (12th) year to the twenty ninth (29th) year of the Manhood of Christ Jesus as God the Son incarnate that Manhood increased/progressed in wisdom and in stature and in favor before God and men; and since John 1:14 clearly asserts-reveals-teaches that “… He tabernacled-dwelt among us…”, meaning among the Jews, therefore, from the twelfth (12th) year to the end of the twenty ninth (29th) year of the Manhood of Jesus on earth that Manhood of His never went outside the borders of the land which He as the covenant-keeping Lord God promised to Abraham and to Abraham’s descendants (cf. Gen. chpts.12-17); all of those who contend that during the aforementioned period of time Jesus in His Manhood travelled outside of the borders of the Promise Land are contradicting the Biblical revelation-teaching of the Lord Jesus Christ, particularly His claim that He came to fulfil the law and the prophets (Matt.5:17-18) and that He was sent “only to the lost sheep of the house of Israel” (Matt.15:24) and it is there within Israel that He will function as the Lamb that takes away the sin of the world (Jn.1:29) and become the propitiation-expiation for the sins of the world (I Jn.2:1-2);
(4) before the Manhood of Jesus reached the age of thirty (30) John the Baptist was already in the process of fulfilling His God-given mission-task of (4-1) being the culmination-completion-final point of the prophesyings of all the prophets and the law (Matt.11:13) regarding the coming of Jesus (YAHWEH SHUA), the Christ (Messiah), in the flesh; (4-2) calling Israel to repentance and proclaiming to those who are coming to him, viz. John, that the kingdom of God is at hand or present in the Person of the YAHWEH who as their coming King and SALVATION, viz. Jesus (YAHWEH SHUA [Matt.3:1-3; Lk.3:4-6]) is also the Lamb that takes away the sin of the world (Jn.1:29,36; Rev.17:14); so everyone of God’s people must produce fruits of repentance by a truthful, holy and righteous life so that all of them may be baptized unto the forgiveness of sins (Matt.3:7-11); and (4-3) baptizing the Lord Jesus Christ not because Jesus is a sinner who must repent to be forgiven of sin, (for Jesus is the sinless, pure, righteous and HOLY ONE [Lk.1:35; Jn.8:45-46; Heb.4:15]), but simply because Jesus WANTED TO FULFIL ALL RIGHTEOUSNESS (Matt.3:13-15; Rom.10:4) since upon, in and through His Manhood He has assumed and applied to Himself not only the Messianic or Christological title-office-function of the Son of Man (or the Bearer of all that is due to and from humankind in, from and through the First Adam/Man) but also the Messianic or Christological title-office-function of being the Second Man and the Last Adam (I Cor.15:45-48) to be the spiritual LIFE GIVER to the humankind that is a new creation IN Him (II Cor.5:17);
(5) after the baptism of Jesus He immediately went up from the water and the Holy Spirit, in the likeness of a dove, was commissioned from God the Father and God the Son (Jn.5:19) but in the Name and by the Person of God the Son (Heb.1:8-9; Jn.3:34; 14:26; 15:26), Jesus the Eternal Christ (Heb.13:8; 11:23-26; I Cor.10:4; Rev.1:1,7-8; 22:12-13), to descend from heaven and come upon the Manhood of Him who is God the Son incarnate; this descent of the Holy Spirit upon the Manhood of God the Son incarnate was also accompanied by the voice of God the Father speaking from heaven and saying, with reference to Jesus, “this is My Son, the Beloved, in whom I Am well pleased” (Matt.3:16-17); since prior to the Baptism of Jesus, by John the Baptist in the Jordan river, and even prior to the Son’s creation-foundation-making of the world (cosmos), the Holy Spirit was already given, infinitely or without measure, by God the Father to God the Son (Heb.1:8-9; Jn.3:31-34; Rev.1:8,11,17,18; 22:12-13; 1:1) that is why God the Son is the Eternal Christ (Eternal Holy Spirit-Anointed [Matt.22:41-45; Ps.110:1,6; Heb.1:8-9; 13:8]), therefore, it is God the Son who directly sent down to His own Perfect Manhood (Jn.14:26; 15:26; Heb.1:8-9; 13:8) God the Holy Spirit, in the form of a dove; thus it is the Godhood of Jesus or it is God the Son Himself that directly anointed His Manhood with the Holy Spirit (Matt.22:41-45; Zech.4:6; Lk.4:18; Acts 10:36-39); those who insist otherwise are, in effect, wrongly denying the Biblical truth-teaching that before His incarnation God the Son was already the Christ (Anointed/Messiah); this wrong insistence or denial is totally refuted by Matt.22:41-45; I Cor.10:1-4; Rev.1:1,8,11,17,18; 22:12-13; Heb.1:8-12; 13:8); Jesus (YAHWEH SHUA) MUST BE, and indeed He IS, the Eternal Christ (Anointed/Messiah) so that He is truly functioning as the SALVATION-SAVIOR of the world (throughout the past, the present and the future) and not just of the humankind during and after His incarnation (I Jn.4:14; Jn.3:16-17; 4:42; II Tim.1:8-10);
(6) after the descent of the Holy Spirit, in the form of a dove, upon the Perfect Manhood of the incarnate God the Son, Christ Jesus, this Perfect Manhood of the incarnate God the Son was driven by the Holy Spirit into the wilderness where the same Manhood of Christ Jesus fasted for forty (40) days and forty (40) nights; afterward Jesus was tempted by the devil (Matt.4:1-2). It was at this occasion that Jesus declared the following Basic Principles of His Own Lifework and Ministry on the Earth as God the Son Incarnate:
(6-1) Jesus does not perform a miracle just to gratify a legitimate or normal biological drive/desire but without rendering justice to all of the responsibilities, needs and concerns of the human spirit, soul, mind and body (Mk.12:28-31; I Cor.16:22; Jn.14:21-23; Rom.14:16-17); for man shall not live on bread alone but on every word/utterance/expression/concern/thing coming out of the mouth of God (Matt.4:3-4);
(6-2) Jesus does not perform a miracle (suspending and/or overruling and/or extraordinarily changing the course of events and/or the nature of things and/or the order for the createdkind[s], and thus significantly intervening in preventing or bringing about and/or sustaining and/or building up some happening or events in the world) to fulfil His Written Word, viz. the Bible, just to establish or vendicate or justify His self-identity and/or self-revelation by depending on the service of the createdkind(s), e.g. angels, to come to His rescue, to keep Him from harm, to ensure His well-being and to promote His cause; anyone who would ask Jesus to perform such a miracle is tempting Him who is the Almighty Lord God the Son incarnate to motivate His Manhood to delight in being spectacularly served and/or “pampered” and/or vendicated by His servants (Matt.4:5-7); Christ Jesus, the Almighty Lord God the Son incarnate, came to earth to assert HIS RIGHTFUL CLAIM upon the whole world not by the greatness of the creatures’ service to Him but by the infinite greatness, boundless goodwill and eternal benefactions of His totally self-sacrificing, world-saving and new world opportunity-making works-service-achievement to the glory of the TRIUNE God and for the appropriation-benefit-enjoyment of all of the createdkinds (I Cor. chpts.1,2,3; Eph.1:3-23; Col.2:6-10; 3:11; Matt.11:27-29);
(6-3) even if the whole world and all of its kingdoms (or creature-made and creature-dominated or creature-governed systems) and all of their glory are placed at your disposition still you are not to bow to neither will you ever give in nor will you in any way nor by any means compromise with any creature who is not doing justice to all the fulness of Jesus; for the all-consuming God-given-called-ordered lifework of all of the createdkinds is to believe-worship-obey-appropriate all the fulness of the Lord (ADON/DESPOTEN) Jesus (YAHWEH SHUA) Christ ([MESSIAH], Jn.6:37-46; Phil.2:9-11; I Cor.12:3; Col.3:23-25; Matt.28:9,17; Heb.1:6; Matt.4:10) who is their Immanuel (God with us [Matt.1:21,23]) and none but Him alone whom they should serve (Matt.4:8-10; Heb.1:5-6; Ps.148:1-6; Neh.9:5-37; Rev.5:11-12; 7:13-17; 22:3-5; Matt.6:24; Jn.12:26; Col.3:23-25);
(7) that since Jesus as the Christ, the Son of the living God, is the ROCK-FOUNDATION-CORNERSTONE (Matt.16:16-18; I Cor.3:10-11; I Pet.2:6-8) of the church (EKKLESIA) which He Himself is building up, therefore, that EKKLESIA (the faithfully obeying called out ones) only CAME INTO BEING WHEN those whom Jesus called (out of non being into being [Rom.4:17], and, out of sin into repentance [[Lk.5:27-32] by following Jesus [Matt.9:9-13; Mk.2:13-17] and relying on His Name [Lk.24:47]], and, also out of darkness into His marvelous light [I Pet.2:1-9; Jn.8:12]) to be His faithful adherents-followers-disciples-servants left ALL and followed HIM (Matt.4:19; 8:22; 9:9; 16:24; 19:21; Mk.2:14; 8:34; 10:21; Lk.5:37; 9:23,57-62; 18:18-30; Jn.1:43-51; 10:4,5,27; 12:26; 21:19-22; Matt.4:20-22; 19:27-30; Mk.1:18,36; 2:14; 10:28; Lk.5:11,28; 18:28); since all of those who, in acceptance of and obedience to the gifts-calling-order of Jesus, have truly left all and followed Jesus are already members-constituents of His true Church/Ekklesia, viz. THE TRINITARIAN ALL FOR JESUS EKKLESIA OF THE LORD GOD, therefore, this Biblically true Church/Ekklesia of the Lord Jesus Christ was ALREADY BORN BEFORE the day of Pentecost (Acts 2:1-4); consequently, those who are teaching that the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ was born on the day of Pentecost are liars and propagators of falsehoods who do not even know how and when a createdkind person is constituted as a member of the true EKKLESIA of Jesus (YAHWEH SHUA);
(8) Christ Jesus, the Almighty Lord God the Son incarnate and Perfect Man, in His apostolate/mission-lifework-ministry on earth benevolently, wisely and voluntarily systematically invested-appropriated-sacrificed His all to summon-call, teach-motivate-train, save-heal, sanctify-purify and keep-retain all of those who are and/or who would be His own from, on, in, through, with, to and for the fulness of His Biblical grace, truth and righteousness;
(9) throughout His ministry on earth the Lord Jesus Christ has been engaged in total, systematic and irreconcilable controversies-debates-argumentations against those who would not accept the fulness of His Biblical grace, truth and righteousness; Jesus argued against the ignorance of the ignorant (Matt.22:23-33), against the lying arguments-temptations of His most powerful, cleverest and irreconcilable enemy (Matt.4:1-10), against the deficient or insufficient or defective or inappropriate knowledge of very learned, religiously educated-trained but tradition-bound people (Matt.22:41-45) and against any and all forms of sins and errors-falsehoods (Jn. chpts.4,5,6,7,8,9; Matt. chpts.9,11,12,14,15,17,19,21,22,23); Jesus argued for the fulness of His grace, truth and righteousness; Jesus is the world-confronting (Jn.1:1-12), world-overcoming (Jn.16:33) and world-saving (Jn.3:1-16; 4:42) controversialist; Jesus is engaged in a relentless controversy against His enemies; Jesus (YAHWEH SHUA) is the God who hates evil doers and destroys those who speak lies (Ps.5:4,5,6) for the wages of sin IS death (Rom.6:23).
