The Trinitarian All For Jesus Church
Opening Prayer: “Good” Lord Jesus Christ, we are here today, to study Your words, to learn from You, and to grow in the grace, and knowledge of You. We are so happy, glad and mirthful, for You always provide, and privilege/benefit us, with Your inexhaustible grace/favor, and undying love and mercy. You are God, in the heavens above, and upon the earth, beneath. And there’s absolutely no one to compare with You, for God the Father ( who greatly delights/takes pride in You ), had given You a Name, that is above all other name ( Philippians 2:9-11& Acts 10:36 ), and had so- painted/covered/anointed/inspired You, with God the Holy Spirit, that You alone, be the Lord of all. We acknowledge Your Godhood/Deity/Divinity, and Your Lordship, over our lives, today. And we earnestly, and reverently pray, for Your inspiration, right now, in Jesus’ Name! Amen!!!
We are still on Module I, today, which is The Constitution or Contents, of All Reality. Last time, we ended with I. The Realm, of the Finite Created Order. As we have said, this purely involves all of the createdkinds. We made/constructed the acrostics/acronym/mnemonic/ contraction, STEP- AHA. If you don’t remember today, what these 7 letters stand for, you haven’t learned much. We are done with this part already, and we are going to embark, today, on II. The Realm of the Infinite Order. As we have said, this purely involves the 3 distinct/ different/varied Persons/Individuals/Selves, belonging to the Godkind. The 3 of Them belong to a single/singular kind, but they are individually unique and distinct/different, from each other. The Father is different/distinct from the Son, and both are different/distinct, from the Holy Spirit/Holy Ghost. Since they all belong to one ( meaning, single/singular ), and the same kind, they are respectively addressed/called as: 1. The Godkind Father ( God the Father ); 2. The Godkind Son ( God the Son ); & 3. The Godkind Holy Spirit ( God the Holy Spirit ).
Do you know, that the entire Old Testament portion of the Bible, was written originally in Hebrew, while the entire New Testament portion of the Bible, was written originally in Greek? Do you also know, what these facts/information mean? These simply mean, that all other languages, the Bible were written, are mere translations ( and they were made that way, to convey/impart/deliver/communicate/express/transmit the messages of the Bible, in the language(s), where they could be grasped/understood/comprehended, by the different nationalities/races of people concerned, so as to accomplish the task, of making the Bible, and all its messages/contents, universally available and intelligible/comprehensible/graspable, by & to both great and small/learned and unlearned ). And the implication/connotation and/or meaning/denotation of that reality is this: That, the original meaning of the words of the Bible, may get on to suffer/deteriorate/deviate, from that which is appropriate, as people get to translate them, in other languages ( no matter, how well- intentioned/sincere, the translators are ). To prevent/preclude/forestall/avoid this plight/predicament/dilemma/difficulty/trouble, the original rendering and/or meaning of the words of the Bible, should always be referred back to ( more so/especially in cases, where Biblical issues, are highly controversial ), if the whole truth, is to be justified/vindicated/warranted/guaranteed/assured. Those who really desire to know Jesus more, would gladly engage, in venturing further, into this, seeming inconvenience. Love bears all things, after all ( Mark 12:30; Philippians 4:13; 2:13 ). And besides, the Scriptures are not merely theoretical/academic/scholastic/educational, but practical/realistic/useful/advantageous/ beneficial/profitable, as well ( Matthew 4:4; II Timothy 3:16-17, 15; 2:15; Psalm 1:1-3; Joshua 1:8 ).
The original writings of the Old Testament Bible are all in Hebrew. The term “God”- came from the Hebrew words “El” or “Eloah”, which literally means “Power”. Putting the suffix “im” would make its plural form “Elohim”, thus translating it to “Powers”.
The original writings of the New Testament Bible are all in Greek. The word “God” has the
Greek word equivalent “Theos”. Therefore, all New Testament renderings of the word “God” are
“Theos”, in Greek. Let us now take a very good example, of the application, of the original
equivalent/meaning of a word of the Bible, in a case or situation, where a Biblical issue is highly
controversial/contentious/debatable. Let’s have the verse Acts 20:28, for example. Quoting it in
the King James Version of the Bible, here is what it says, “Take heed therefore unto yourselves,
and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost/Holy Spirit hath made you overseers, to feed
the church of God, which He hath purchased with His own blood.” As I get to write and quote
this verse, right now, I had to highlight the portion that says, “to feed the church of God, which
He hath purchased with His own blood.” There are faiths/beliefs who uphold/support/
advocate/endorse/encourage the teaching that Jesus is purely God, and not man. On the other
hand, there are also faiths/beliefs who maintain that Jesus is purely man, and not God. Before I
get to venture further into these discussions, let me first give you a concrete/actual example of
how details/information, can be handled by people. Suppose, we have the information that
Mrs. Gloria Macapagal Arroyo is the President of the Philippines, and the wife of 1st Gentleman,
Mike Arroyo, how would you handle this information or facts, if you are going to be truthful/
accurate/exact/factual, in your presentation(s)? Let me now simulate/suggest/make, several
instances/examples, to have this done: 1. Tell people that Mrs. Gloria Macapagal Arroyo is the
President of the Philippines; 2. Tell people that Mrs. Gloria Macapagal Arroyo is the wife of 1st
Gentleman, Mike Arroyo; 3. Tell people that Mrs. Gloria Macapagal Arroyo is both, the
President of the Philippines, and the wife of 1st Gentleman, Mike Arroyo; 4. If I am an adult
sane/reasonable/sound man ( or a man in my right mind or one having full possession of my
mental faculties ), who is well- informed, I will be truthful to the above facts/information given,
if I would tell people, that Mrs. Gloria Macapagal Arroyo is both, the President of the
Philippines, and the wife of 1st Gentleman, Mike Arroyo; 5. If I am a sane and well- informed
adult, I would be a liar, if I would tell people, that Mrs. Gloria Macapagal Arroyo is purely the
President of the Philippines, and not the wife of 1st Gentleman, Mike Arroyo; 6. I would be a
liar as well, if I am sane, and well- informed, but would tell people, that Mrs. Gloria Macapagal
Arroyo is purely the wife of 1st Gentleman, Mike Arroyo, and not the President of the Philippines
; 7. If I am a sane child, but not well- informed, and I just know that Mrs. Gloria Macapagal
Arroyo is the President of the Philippines, I won’t be a liar, if I would tell people exactly just
what I know; 8. I won’t be a liar as well, if I am a sane child, and not well informed, though I tell
people that Mrs. Gloria Macapagal Arroyo is the wife of 1st Gentleman, Mike Arroyo, provided,
that’s all I know, and provided I don’t make claims, contrary to what Mrs. Gloria Macapagal
Arroyo, really is; 9. If I am insane/mentally deranged/psychotic, I won’t be a liar, even if I get to
lie to people, concerning the whole picture/depiction/description, about Mrs. Gloria Macapagal
Arroyo, since I am not on my right mind. Insanity excuses one from lies or errors, provided, that
same person, was not lucid/rational/coherent, at the time he/she told, the lies or errors; 10. If I
am merely stupid or ignorant or unlearned or uninformed, regarding the information/facts, that
Mrs. Gloria Macapagal Arroyo is both the President of the Philippines and the wife of 1st
Gentleman, Mike Arroyo ( though, I don’t have any intentional motive to lie to/deceive/mislead
people ), I would still be a liar, if I would get to tell people, that Mrs. Gloria Macapagal Arroyo, is
opposite the facts/information, already appropriately laid down, about her. In such a case, the
lying I incurred/committed, is definitely unintentional, but still a lie, nevertheless, and at the
same time, a manifest/revealed error ( though, I am not aware/conscious, about it ). So, to
prevent this scenario, the stupid, or the ignorant, or the unlearned, or the uninformed, must
take their studies, and learn, their lessons well. As they used, to say (with reference to the law ),
ignorantia juris haud excusat. In the same manner, ignorance pertaining to information/facts,
does not excuse anyone. There’s always a price to be paid, for being ignorant. Going back with
Acts 20:28, considering the portion that says, … “to feed the church of God, which He hath
purchased with His own blood”, there are faiths/beliefs who maintain/advocate that the Lord
Jesus Christ, is purely man, and not God. They would call Jesus Lord, but a human Lord. These
people would handle this verse in a real distorted/twisted way, to suit their Pharisaic(al) and
ceremonial/ritualistic religiosity/religiousness. Please, remember well, how they would handle
this verse. Let me show you, exactly how: Since their main doctrinal position is that, the Lord
Jesus Christ is purely man, and not God, they would argue, that the verse was not accurately/
properly/appropriately rendered. They would further say, that this is so, because it says there,
“church of God, which He hath purchased with His own blood”. According to them, “church of
God” should have been rendered as “church of Christ”, for God is a Spirit Being, with no flesh, or
bones, or blood. Therefore, according to them, God cannot purchase the church with His own
blood, for God has no blood. Instead, they have to substitute “God” with “Christ”, to fit/match/
portray the scenario, that since Christ is purely man ( as they advocate ), and man possess
blood, hence, it is not God who purchased the church with His blood ( for He has none ), but
rather Christ, who, being purely man, possessed blood, by which, the church, had been
purchased. And impressively, their magic ( hocus pocus ), is achieved. Now, they have a totally
fresh/new verse to declare, and throw punches by, “to feed the church of Christ, which He has
purchased with His own blood”. They would even go to the extent of using a Bible translation,
the way they distorted/twisted the original rendering, to come up with a new one that fits their
wrong and deceitful/dishonest/fraudulent, doctrines well. Remember their magic (hocus pocus)
well! From “church of God, which He has purchased with His own blood” to “church of Christ,
which He has purchased with His own blood”!!! But just like the multiple magicians of Pharaoh
who had to mimic/imitate the miracle of the Lord ( through the hand of Aaron, by throwing his
rod, and it became a serpent ), even though they all threw their rods, and transformed it into
serpents, the serpent which belongs to Aaron, from the Lord, have swallowed up all the rest, that
belong to the deceitful magicians of Pharaoh. Didn’t Jesus say, “be wise as serpents, and
harmless as doves”? Now, concerning Acts 20:28, how do we prove that “church of God” is the
rightful/correct and appropriate rendering, instead of “church of Christ”? Answer: “church of
Christ” is only a translation. “Church of God” was & is the original rendering. Between a Bible
translation and an Original Bible rendering, the Original Bible “holds water” and prevails. You
don’t base the original from the translation, but the translation, from the original. To drive home my
point, let me simply say it this way: The rendering of the original Bible is “church of God” or “church of
Theos”. The rendering of one ( 1 ) mere translation is “church of Christ” or “church of Christos”. Again,
the entire New Testament was written originally in Greek. “Theos” and “Christos” are 2 Greek words,
totally different and distinct from each other. The original Bible used/utilized the word “Theos” for the
word “God”, not “Christos”. All faiths/beliefs who insist on “church of Christ”, instead of “church of
God” regarding Acts 20:28, to discredit the Godhood/Deity/Divinity of Jesus ( and therefore, make Him
purely Man ), are not only intently lying, and propagating falsehood and deceit, but profound errors as
well. That in itself, is more than enough ground, for them all ( and all their members ), to go to hell
( Mark 9:43-48 ), and eventually, into the lake of fire ( Revelation 20:14-15 ). – Revelation 21:8; No
wonder, why they won’t encourage their members, to do an independent/personal, daily Bible reading
( Acts 17:11; Joshua 1:8; Psalm 1:1-3 ), aside from what they learn, during their congregational
gatherings, and group Bible studies. They have so misled their members, into believing , that just or only
their ministers, are the valid agents by which the scriptures/Bible, could be understood. What a total
opposition with Joshua 1:8, Psalm 1:1-3 and Acts 17:11!!! They have mostly lazy/slothful/indolent
members ( pertaining to the scriptures/Bible ), who won’t venture at all in a consistent daily Bible
reading, but would rather venture in reading purely commentaries, written by their ministers, that are
mostly twisted and mis- applied, and therefore, inconsistent with sound/true Bible teachings. But
definitely, the members won’t notice at all. They are mostly lazy Bible readers, anyway. They won’t mind
at all. They won’t know, and they won’t understand. They were & are, just like a flock of sheep, being
led ( or more appropriately, misled ), by fraudulent/deceitful and/or blinded shepherds. With the blind,
leading the blind, both will surely fall, into the ditch/pit ( Matthew 15:14; Luke 6:39 ). Can you picture a
Medicine student, who would listen all the time to his/her lecture instructors or Professors, but won’t
read his/her lessons at all? That would be disastrous and unwise!!! Same thing with the Bible. You don’t
just listen to the Pastors/Ministers. You have to mostly read for yourself, to learn more, to learn better,
and to learn, your lessons well. And that way, you will know as well, whether you are being taught, what
is right, or just the opposite of that ( Acts 17:11 ). So, going back with their magic ( hocus pocus ) of Acts
20:28, let us now examine the verse carefully. Just the portion that says, “to feed the church of God,
which He hath purchased with His own blood”; This is exactly how this portion of the verse, was
originally rendered. Now, as this information unfolds before your hearing and your thoughts, there is a
very valid question that will arise in your consciousness. How come the verse portrays God, as having
blood, when He is a Spirit Being, who has none? Answer: Because, this God/Godkind, took Manhood/
Humanity/Flesh upon Himself ( John 1:1, 14; Philippians 2:5-8; Isaiah 9:6; Micah 5:2; I John 4:1-3; I
Timothy 3:16 ) . Since He did so, now, His Manhood can already afford, to shed blood, so that through
the shed blood of His Humanity, the penalty/punishment of/for the whole world’s sin against God/the
Godkind, could be pardoned/forgiven/atoned for/covered ( Hebrews 9:22; Acts 20:28; Titus 2:13-14;
Ephesians 1:7; Colossians 1:14; I John 1:7 ), conditionally ( John 3:16, 15 ). And that’s what the “Good”
Lord Jesus exactly did. He, being God/Godkind originally, purchased His people ( the church/called out
ones ), by/through the shed blood of His Manhood/Humanity. Substituting the word “God” ( Theos, in
Greek ) in the phrase “church of God” ( of Acts 20:28 ), with the word “Christ” ( Christos, in Greek ), is
an evident or manifest tampering/alteration/modification, of the original rendering, by those faiths/
beliefs, who maintain that the Lord Jesus Christ is purely man, and not God ( who took Manhood/
Humanity/Flesh, upon Himself, that He may be able to shed blood ). This, they did and do, to discredit
the Godhood/Deity/Divinity of the Almighty ( Revelation 1:7-8, 17-18; 22:12-13, 20 ), “Good” ( Matthew
19:17; Mark 10:18; Luke 18:19 ) Lord ( Philippians 2:9-11; Acts 10:36; Philippians 3:21 ) God ( John
5:18; 10:30-33; John 20:28; Philippians 2:5-6; Acts 20:28; Psalm 45:6-7; Hebrews 1:8-9; Titus 2:13-14 ),
the Son ( John 3:16; Romans 8:3, 32; Hebrews 1:8; Psalm 2:7, 11-12 ), Jesus the Christ ( Hebrews 13:8 ),
Incarnate ( John 1:1, 14; Philippians 2:5-8; I John 4:1-3; I Timothy 3:16 ), Perfect Man ( Hebrews 2:10;
5:9; 4:15 ) and All in all ( Colossians 3:11B; Romans 11:36 ). When Jesus should have been made known
as God, who took Manhood/Humanity/Flesh upon Himself ( aside from being All in all ), those faiths/
beliefs who maintain/advocate that Jesus is purely man, and not God, would just quote the many
passages proving the Manhood/Humanity of Jesus, but would not venture in mentioning as well, the
many passages, proving His Godhood. That is a very deceitful/fraudulent/deceptive and incomplete
( INC. ) presentation of the whole Person or personality, of the Lord Jesus Christ! Enough, or more than
enough ground, to bring one to hell ( Mark 9:43-48 ), and eventually, into the Lake of fire ( Revelation
20:14-15 ). Will you rather be lazy/slothful/indolent, not reading your Bible daily ( and not verify things
for yourself ), and consequently, deceive people ( knowingly or unknowingly ), by the teachings you
uphold and propagate, and therefore, spend eternity in Hell & the Lake of Fire, than to read your Bible
daily ( and verify things for yourself ), and learn your lessons well, and consequently, share the entirety
of Bible truths to others, and therefore, spend eternity in the new heavens and new earth, in the very
presence of the one and only Personally visible God/Godkind, the Lord Jesus Christ? Your choice, is
your destiny! On the other hand, there are also those faiths/beliefs that uphold/support/maintain that
Jesus is God, who took Manhood/Humanity/Flesh upon Himself, but would mostly advocate
( unintentionally/blindly ), just the Godhood/Deity/Divinity of the Lord Jesus, so that when they get to
encounter those faiths/beliefs that maintain that Jesus is purely man, and not God, they would counter
the latter, by purely quoting the many passages about the Godhood of Jesus, while the said latter faiths
/beliefs, would counter the former, by quoting the many passages, about the manhood of Jesus. Thus,
the effect would be, 2 groups of faith/belief, contending with each other, with their respective Bible
passages to uphold ( one group trying to prove the Godhood of Jesus, while the other tries to prove His
manhood ). With this scenario going on, no group among the 2 contending parties, gets to win in the
discussion, for both groups quote many passages, relevant to their respective stands. Thus, this kind of
discussion, won’t lead the 2 groups any where. Why? For it is true, that there are passages that prove,
the Godhood of Jesus, but, there are also passages that prove, His Manhood. The blindness of the
former group, is that, for them to pin down, the very stand of the latter group, they have to point out
clearly, that the Lord Jesus Christ is God, who took Manhood upon Himself, and not as the latter group’s
contention, that Jesus is purely Man, with no Godhood. If you take a clear stand, that Jesus is both God
and Man ( i.e., 100 % God & 100% Man ), and quote all the passages for both claims, those faiths/beliefs
that purely contend for the manhood of Jesus, but denies His Godhood, would have nowhere to go, to
discredit your stand, for then, you would be able to prove, that they are deceitfully neglecting all the
passages, concerning Jesus’ Godhood. By then, all their magic ( hocus pocus ), would prove to be, mere
illusions ( or perception of things, not as they really are ).
Let us now discuss the Essential Attributes of God, or to put it in another way, the important
characteristics of God: 1. He is Self- existent– When we say Self- existent, we mean, that God has no
Creator. He was just there in eternity/infinity, prior to the creation of the world. He is not part of the
createdkinds. In Exodus 3:13-14, when the LORD ( Yahweh/Yehowah/Jehovah ) Jesus ( I Corinthians
10:1-10; Hebrews 11:24-26; John 5:46-47; Luke 24:44 ) asked Moses, to lead the Israelites out of the
land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage, Moses asked the Lord (Adonay) Jesus, saying, “Lord, when I
come unto the children of Israel, and shall say unto them, the God of your fathers hath sent me unto
you, and they shall say unto me, what is His Name? What shall I say unto them?” And the Lord Jesus
answered Moses, saying, “I AM THAT I AM.” And He said, “Thus shalt thou say unto the children of
Israel . I AM, hath sent me unto you.” Also, in John 8:56-59, when the “Good” Lord Jesus contended/
argued with the Jews, He told them these very words, saying, “Your father Abraham, rejoiced to see my
day, and He saw it, and was glad.” Consequently, the Jews answered Him back, saying, “Thou art not yet
50 years old, and hast thou seen Abraham?” Jesus said unto them, “verily, verily, I say unto you, before
Abraham was, I AM.” At this point, the Jews then took up stones to stone Him, but Jesus hid Himself and
went out of the temple, going through the midst of them, and so passed by. Question: Why would the
Jews stone Jesus for claiming preexistence to Abraham? Answer: Because, that would mean to them,
that Jesus is saying, that He is God ( Hebrews 1:8-9; Psalm 45:6-7; John 20:28-29; Acts 20:28; I Timothy
3:16; Titus 2:13-14; Philippians 2:5-6; John 5:17-18; John 10:30-33; John 1:1; 3:16; Romans 8:3, 32 ).
Note: In His Godhood/Deity/Divinity, the “Good” Lord Jesus Christ, is definitely Self- existent ( Hebrews
11:6 ), just like God the Father & God the Holy Spirit ( Acts 5:1-4; Matthew 12:31-32; Mark 3:28-29;
Luke 12:10 ). The 3 of Them, individually, is absolute/complete/perfect/unlimited, and has no need. On
the other hand, in His Manhood/Humanity/Flesh ( I Timothy 3:16; I John 4:1-3; John 1:1, 14 ), the Lord
Jesus: 1. had to grow/increase in wisdom, and stature/height ( Luke 2:52 ); 2. had to be hungry
( Matthew 4:2 ); 3. had to be thirsty ( John 4:7; John 19:28 ); 4. had to eat (I Corinthians 11:23-25; John
21:12-13 ) and drink (Matthew 26:17-29 ); 5. had to be weary ( John 4:6 ); 6. had to cry (John 11:35 );
7. had to be wounded ( Isaiah 53:5; I Peter 2:24 ) and crucified ( Matthew 27:35; Mark 15:24-25; Mark
16:6; Luke 23:33; John 19:18; Hebrews 12:2 ); 8. had to die ( Matthew 27:50; II Corinthians 5:14-15 ) &
9. had to be tempted ( Hebrews 4:15 ), and yet, without sin. The things we all experienced, as
humankind, the same things, the Manhood/Humanity/Flesh of Jesus, experienced. Going back to the
important characteristics of God: 2. He is omniscient/all- knowing/pansophical/all- wise– In Isaiah
46:9-10, the Lord Jesus is saying, “Remember the former things of old: for I am God, and there is none
else; I am God, and there is none like Me, declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times
the things that are not yet done, saying, My counsel/advice shall stand/prevail, and I will do all my
pleasure/desire.” Question: Why would Jesus say that He is God, and there is none else? Does not the
Bible/Holy Scriptures, teach that God the Father is God, just as God the Holy Spirit is God? Answer: True
enough, the Bible/Holy Scriptures teach that God the Father is God. Same thing for God the Holy Spirit,
but only the “Good” Lord Jesus, qualifies His Godhood/Deity/Divinity, by saying, there is none like Him,
who declares the end, from the beginning, and from olden days, the things that are not yet
accomplished. Since He alone is the directly all- confronting ( all- dealing ) God/Godkind ( to all
createdkinds ), He alone among God/the Godkind will make the claim that His counsel/advice shall
stand/prevail, and will do all His pleasure/desires. Since God the Father is infinitely invisible ( to all
createdkinds ) & God the Holy Spirit is infinitely symbolic ( to all createdkinds ), none among the
Godkind, except the Lord Jesus, will make the claim, that He already did for Himself. Picture a scenario
where you are watching new movies, with one of your friends. And while, you are both watching, one
movie at a time, even while each movie is just about starting/commencing, your friend will already tell
you the end/conclusion/ completion of the entire movie. Question: Would you not think that your friend
already knows all those movies? Answer: You definitely would!!! That’s exactly how Jesus is! He declares
the end, from the very beginning, and from days of old, those things that have not happened yet. He is
all- knowing or all- wise, after all! And that’s why, He can afford to say, “My counsel/advice will stand/
prevail, and I will do ( or I can do ) all I want.” Prior to doing anything, Jesus already knows what will
happen. No wonder why Revelation 13:8 ( which is a part of Jesus’ disclosures/exposés ) would account/
reckon/consider the Manhood/Humanity/Flesh of Jesus, as the Lamb ( John 1:29, 36 ), slain/
slaughtered, from the foundation of the world. This simply means, that from the very creation of all
things ( Whole Chapter 1 of Genesis; John 1:3; Colossians 1:16 ), the “Good” Lord Jesus ( being God/
Godkind ), was already committed to take Human form, so that through the shed blood of His perfect/
complete/flawless/ faultless/unblemished/sinless Manhood/Humanity/Flesh ( Hebrews 2:10; 5:9; 4:15 )
, the penalty/punishment of/for , Adam, & all Adam- derived Humankind, may be pardoned/excused/
forgiven/atoned for/covered/washed ( Hebrews 9:22; Ephesians 1:7; Colossians 1:14; I John 1:7;
Revelation 1:5B ), conditionally ( John 3:16, 15; Romans 8:1 ). Also, even back in the Old Testament
times, Isaiah 53:5 can prophetically declare, that by the stripes/blow marks/bruises/wounds of Jesus
( Yahweh Shua/Yehoshua/the LORD who is Salvation/Iesous ), we are healed!!! In John 2:24-25, it was
accounted, “Jesus did not commit Himself unto the people ( who believed in Him for the miracles which
He did ), because He knew all men, and needed not that any should testify of man, for He knew what
was in man.”; Then, In John 21:17B, Peter had to tell Jesus, “Lord, Thou knowest all things.”; Isaiah
40:28 had to reckon, “Hast thou not known? Hast thou not heard, that the everlasting/eternal/infinite
God, the LORD ( or Yahweh/Yehowah/Jehovah ), the Creator ( John 1:3; Colossians 1:16; Hebrews 1:10 )
of the ends of the earth, fainteth not, neither is weary/gets exhausted? There is no searching/finding
out of His understanding/knowledge/comprehension.” ; The LORD Jesus had to say in Isaiah 55:8-9, “For
My thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways My way. For as the heavens are higher
than the earth, so are My ways, higher than your ways, and My thoughts, than your thoughts.”
And that’s why, the Apostle Paul had to say in I Corinthians 2:16A, “For who hath known the
mind of the Lord, that he may instruct Him?”; The Lord Jesus, being the Personal “Word of God”
( or the “Word of God”, in Person – Hebrews 4:12-13; Revelation 19:11-13, and neither the uttered
word of God- Matthew 4:4, nor the written word of God- II Timothy 3:16; Acts 17:11; Joshua 1:8 ), is
quick/alive and powerful, and sharper /keener than any two- edged sword, piercing/penetrating even
to the dividing asunder/apart, of the soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner/
knower of the thoughts and intents/desires/will of the heart. Neither is there any creature ( or
createdkind ) that is not manifest/revealed/disclosed in His eyes/sight, but all things are naked/bare and
opened/exposed unto the eyes of Him ( being Jesus ), with whom we have to do ( II Corinthians 5:10;
Psalm 62:12; Revelation 22:12; 2:23C ). Jesus knows all things, and is absolutely perfect/complete/
faultless in knowledge, just as God the Holy Spirit, and God the Father are ( Matthew 10:29-30; Luke
12:6-7 ). Even the very hairs of all our heads, They all know. Yes, even those things, seemingly trivial/
unimportant/insignificant for us. 3. He is omnipotent/all- powerful/all- dynamic/all- forceful– In Job
42:1-2, Job had to answer the LORD Jesus ( Yahweh Shua/Yehoshua/Yeshuwah- Job 13:15-16 ), saying, “I
know, that Thou canst do everything, and that no thought/idea/thinking, can be withholden/withheld/
hidden from Thee.” ; Consider Genesis Chapter 17. Here, the “Good” LORD Jesus ,appeared to Abram to
tell him that the following year, he and Sarah, are going to have a child of their own, though Abraham is
already 99 years old, and though his wife Sarah is already 89 years old, added the fact that she is barren
/sterile, aside from having undergone menopause already. Come Genesis Chapter 18, the Lord ( Adonay
) Jesus had to appear to him again to assure him that he and Sarah, his wife, are definitely going to have
a child of their own. For according to the LORD Jesus, nothing is too hard for Him ( Genesis 18:14A ).
And that’s why, He had to say as well, in Jeremiah 32:27, “Behold, I am the LORD, the God of all flesh: is
there anything too hard for me?”; Of course, nothing is too hard for God! Nothing is too hard for Jesus!!!
For with Jesus, all things are possible ( Mark 10:27B ). He brings to pass/makes to happen, everything
which He wills/desires, for what He had said or promised, He was also, able to perform ( Romans 4:21 ),
since He is the God, who gives life to the dead, and calls the things which be not, as though they were
( Romans 4:17 ). In essence, His power is boundless/unlimited and/or eternal/infinite, seeing He is able,
even to subdue/submit/subject all things, unto Himself ( Philippians 3:21 ). And besides, He is also able,
to do exceeding abundantly, above all, that we ask or think ( Ephesians 3:20 ). 4. He is omnipresent/
ubiquitous– In Psalm 139:7-12, David, the Psalmist, was accounting, saying, “LORD, whither ( or to
what place/where ) shall I go from Thy spirit? or whither shall I flee ( escape/run away ) from
Thy presence? If I ascend ( rise ) up into heaven, Thou art there. If I make my bed in hell ( sheol
/hades ), behold ( see ), Thou art there. If I take the wings of the morning, and dwell ( inhabit/
reside ) in the uttermost parts of the sea, even there shall Thy hand lead me, and Thy right hand
shall hold me. If I say, surely the darkness shall cover ( hide/conceal ) me; even the night shall
be light about me. Yea, the darkness hideth not from Thee; but the night, shineth as the day: the
darkness and the light, are both alike to Thee.” In essence, what David was saying, was that,
wherever he goes, Jesus is there. Jesus is everywhere! And that, no human being ( or any
createdkind ), could hide from Him. In Isaiah 66:1A & Acts 7:49A, the LORD Jesus ( Yahweh
Shua/Yehoshua/Jehovah Shua/Yeshuwah- Isaiah 12:2 ) is saying, “Heaven is My throne, and
the earth is My footstool.” Can you picture/visualize, how big Jesus is? He is not limited, by
space and time! He can be anywhere/everywhere, all at the same time!!! Neither the word
“limitation(s)”, nor the word “impenetrability” applies to His Deity/Divinity/Godhood, for
He fills all in all ( Ephesians 1:23 ), and He is, “in” all ( Colossians 3:11B ). When Jesus,
being God, took human form ( manhood ), and came into this world ( our very planet ),
Matthew 1:23 had to account, “Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son,
and they shall call His name Emmanuel, which being interpreted, is, God with us.” After the
Manhood of Jesus had resurrected from the dead ( John 11:25A ), He later had to meet His
disciples in a mountain, in Galilee, having charged them to go into all the nations, to teach
them, baptizing them in the Name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. And to
teach all people, to observe, everything that the Lord Jesus, had commanded His disciples. And
having assured His disciples, that He will always be with them, even unto the end of the world/
age ( Matthew 28:19-20 ), His Manhood ( being indwelt by His Godhood ), successively
ascended up to Paradise/3rd heaven/Abraham’s bosom ( Luke 16:22 )/the Father’s house
( John 14:1-3 )/God’s dwelling place ( I Kings 8; II Chronicles 6 ), and sat at the right hand
of God the Father ( Acts 2:33-35 ). True enough, the “Good” LORD Jesus, is the ever present
“Emmanuel”- “God with us”! Yes, even unto the end of the world/age!!! We may not get to see
often, His bodily/biophysical (tangible/touchable/palpable) presence, presently ( Matthew
26:11; Mark 14:7; John 12:8 ), but definitely, His Deity/Divinity/Godhood, is always with us.
Now, before we get to venture further, into the important characteristics of God ( or the
important characteristics of the Godhood of Jesus ), let us try to elaborate, the 3 “Omnis” of
Jesus, we have already discussed. He is: 1. Omniscient/all- knowing; 2. Omnipotent/all-
powerful; & 3. Omnipresent/all- present. Please, consider well, these 3 attributes of God! No
human being, neither any createdkind ( yes, not even the angels ), will qualify for: 1. Knowing
all things; 2. Doing all things; & 3. Being available everywhere; And that’s the very reason why,
strictly speaking, and being sensible about it, we must and should pray only to God ( the Lord
Jesus Christ ). Prayer is a form of communication, that should and must only be addressed to
the Godkind ( more specifically/particularly, the Lord Jesus Christ ), by the createdkind(s). No
createdkind(s) ( elements or plants or animals or humans or angels ), should be prayed to
( whether dead or alive, holy or otherwise ). Prayer should only be addressed to God ( solely/
purely, to the Lord Jesus Christ, since God the Father, is infinitely invisible { John 1:18; I
Timothy 6:16; I John 4:12; John 6:46 } and God the Holy Spirit, is infinitely symbolic
{ Matthew 3:16; Acts 2:1-4; Revelation 1:4; 4:5 } ). Suppose we portray a scenario/
spectacle/scene, where human beings, pray to another human being ( whether dead or alive ).
People of different nationalities and races and geographies, simultaneously/synchronously/all at
the same time, praying to one human being ( either dead or alive ). For that one human being,
being prayed to, to answer all their prayers, he/she has to be present everywhere, to hear
them all, and to hear them well. He/she has to also know, all their thoughts and intents, and be
all- capable, to meet all their needs and desires. In other words, for him/her to do that, he/she
has to be God/Godkind- omnipresent, omniscient and omnipotent!!! Since only God suits/
fits/qualifies for these 3 “omnis”, no createdkind ( no, not even the angels, being merely finite
beings, and still limited by space and time ) is qualified to be prayed to. By merely praying to
any createdkind(s) ( like angels and humans, either dead or alive ), you are thereby attributing
Godhood/Deity/Divinity ( consciously or unconsciously ) to the same. Let us now consider what
things were reckoned in Deuteronomy 18:10-12: “There shall not be found among you, any
one that maketh his son or his daughter, to pass through the fire, or that useth divination, or an
observer of times, or an enchanter, or a witch, or a charmer, or a consulter with familiar spirits,
or a wizard, or a necromancer. For all that do these things, are an abomination ( or something
hateful ) unto the LORD: and because of these abominations ( hateful things ), the LORD thy
God, doth drive them out, from before thee.” In essence, what the LORD Jesus ( Yahweh Shua
/Yehoshua/Yeshuwah- Exodus 15:2; Job 13:16; Psalm 35:3B; Psalm 62:1-2, 5-6;
118:14, 21; Isaiah 12:2; 33:2 ) is saying to the Israelites ( by His servant Moses ), in the
quoted passages above, are these: “You shall not practice burning your children in the fire. You
shall not practice soothsaying. You shall not practice magic. You shall not practice sorcery or
witchcraft. You shall not practice love- charms ( “panggagayuma” ). You shall not practice
consulting those who call evil spirits. You shall not practice incantation (“pang-e-engkanto”).
And you shall not practice communicating to/talking with/calling upon the dead. For the LORD
hates all these things, and rejects all those, who practice these things.” Do you get to hear people
speaking up during wakes ( vigils before corpses/dead bodies ) of their loved ones? Even now a
days, there are still many people of this sort, who would talk to their dead loved ones,
during wakes. They would practice talking repeatedly to their dead loved ones, as if their dead
loved ones could still hear them. They would even pour out into emotional outbursts, while
talking to their dead loved ones. They have the wrong notion that their dead, could still hear
them! In reality, what they are practicing is definitely absurd or out of tune!!! The “Good” Lord
Jesus abhors/abominates/detests/derides/despises/hates, and rejects, such practice(s). The set
of passages we just earlier quoted, labeled such persons or such a person as a necromancer.
The Lord Jesus, rejects and disowns, all necromancers, with no exception! “Necromancy” is
wickedness before Jesus!!! You don’t talk, to a dead person. You may talk about him/her, but
you must not and should not talk to the same. Man is a tripartite ( composed of 3 parts ) being
( I Thesslonians 5:23 ). The body ( physical constitution ) becomes lifeless, when a person
dies ( later to putrefy/decompose – Genesis 3:19C ), while the spirit and soul, either goes to
heaven, or hell ( Hebrews 9:27 ). Remember the thief at the cross, crucified beside Jesus, who
accepted Him shortly, before he died ( Luke 23:42-43 )? Remember Jesus’ story, about a
certain rich man and a certain beggar, named Lazarus ( Luke 16:19-31 )? Let’s take the story of
I Samuel Chapter 28, 15 & 31: The prophet Samuel had already died. And Saul, the King of
Israel, had already been rejected by the Lord Jesus Christ, because of his disobedience, to the
Lord’s instructions. When the Lord Jesus had commanded Saul to kill Agag, the king of the
Amalekites, and to destroy all the Amalekites & all their goods and livestocks, he spared the life
of Agag, and did not destroy all the goods and livestocks, of the Amalekites. Because of these, the
Lord had departed already from Saul, and would not speak to him anymore, neither by dreams,
nor by prophets. So, when during the past, Saul ( being yet faithful to the LORD Jesus ), had
removed those who have familiar spirits and the wizards from the land of Israel, and
destroyed them completely, later, when the Lord had already rejected him, he got so distressed/
troubled because the Philistines, are already making war against him. And not having any
person to enquire from, to receive the Lord’s instructions, he then tried to enquire, from a
woman with a familiar spirit ( or “a woman who can call back the spirit of the dead” ).
Note: In our present day, such a person is appropriately labeled, as a “Spiritist”. So, having
consulted a woman with a familiar spirit ( or a Spiritist ), King Saul asked her, to bring back
Samuel, from the dead. And having done so, Samuel asked Saul, “Why hast thou disquieted me,
to bring me up?” King Saul answered, “I am sore distressed, for the Philistines make war
against me, and God is departed from me, and answereth me no more, neither by prophets, nor
by dreams: therefore, I have called thee, that you may tell me, what I shall do.” Samuel
answered back, “How come, you’re asking me, seeing the LORD is departed from you, and is
become your enemy? And the LORD hath removed the kingdom, out of your hand, and given it
to your neighbor, David, because you obeyed not the voice of the LORD, nor killed Agag, the
king of the Amalekites. Therefore, hath the LORD done this thing unto you, this day. Moreover,
the LORD will also deliver Israel with you, into the hand of the Philistines. And tomorrow, you
and your sons, shall be with me.” The following day, King Saul, together with the host of Israel,
engaged in battle with the Philistines. And true enough, they were defeated before their enemies.
And King Saul, with his 3 sons ( Jonathan, Abinadab & Melchishua ), died in the battle.
Question: Was it really the spirit of the prophet Samuel, who showed up before King Saul, the
night before he engaged in battle? Answer: No! He definitely looked, like Samuel, but in reality,
it was an evil spirit ( demon ), who merely imitated/copied, Samuel’s appearance. Also, the
messages he conveyed to King Saul were true, and came to pass, but it doesn’t prove him, to be
the genuine/authentic Samuel. Satan and all his demonic forces and cohorts/followers, can do
that as well ( II Corinthians 11:14-15 )!!! Question: How do we prove beyond reasonable
doubt, that it was not the spirit of the prophet Samuel? Answer: The Samuel who appeared to
Saul, told him, “Tomorrow, shalt thou and thy sons be with me!” Note: It cannot be the spirit of
the real Samuel, for the spirit and soul of the real Samuel, definitely went into Paradise/3rd
heaven ( for he was a faithful prophet, of the LORD Jesus ), while the spirit and soul of Saul,
went to hell, the following day ( after the battle, for the LORD Jesus, had already rejected him ).
Since the 2 of them went not, to the same place, the authentic Samuel, could not have said to
Saul, “Tomorrow shalt thou and thy sons be with me!” In reality, a Spiritist ( or “a person with a
familiar spirit” ) can’t really bring back the spirit of the dead, for consultation. The Lord Jesus
doesn’t allow that ( Luke 16:19-31 )! In fact, He abhors/hates it ( Deuteronomy 18:10-12 )
!!! “Necromancy” ( talking to the dead ) is a form of Spiritism. Praying to the dead is a way to
talk to the dead. That, in itself, is “necromancy”, as well! If we are going to account all Adam-
derived humankind, if there is one thing, we all have to suffer ( or undergo ), because of
sin, before the Lord Jesus comes, that is biological/biophysical death ( or the death of our
physical constitution ). In the entire Bible, there are only 2 human beings recorded, not to have
died, or suffered biophysical death ( as yet ), and yet, were already brought to Paradise/the 3rd
heaven. One is Enoch ( Genesis 5:24 ) and the other is Elijah ( II Kings 2:11 ). And in spite of
that, never in the entire Bible did Jesus ( or any of His followers ) teach anyone to pray to either
Enoch or Elijah, or both. Why would they? Prayer is only addressed to God, not to holy people
of God! Pray directly to Jesus!!! No more! No less! 5. He is Eternal ( infinite, meaning, no
beginning/commencement and no terminal point/end ) and Immutable– Micah 5:2 had to
account, “But thou, Bethlehem Ephratah, though thou be little among the thousands of Judah,
yet out of thee shall He come forth unto Me that is to be ruler in Israel; whose goings forth have
been from of old, from everlasting.” When the LORD Jesus ( Yahweh Shua/Yehoshua/
Yeshuwah, being God/Godkind ), took human form upon Himself, He took Joseph ( of the
house and lineage of David ), for the foster/replacement/surrogate/substitute /proxy father of
His humanity/manhood/flesh ( Luke 3:23 ). And there, in the city of David, which is
Bethlehem, inside the land of Judah, His manhood/flesh, was born as a babe ( in a manger ),
out of the womb (uterus) of the foster/replacement/surrogate/substitute/proxy mother of that
same humanity/flesh of His ( Matthew 1:18-20, 23-25 ). While Jesus’ Manhood/Humanity/
Flesh was created by His Deity/Divinity/Godhood ( John 1:3; Colossians 1:16; Acts 17:24-
25 ), in the 3rd heaven/ Paradise ( I Corinthians 15:47; John 3:31, 13; 6:51, 50 ), as a
“seed”, then brought forth, implanted and fostered by God the Holy Spirit in the womb/uterus of
the “virgin” Mary ( Matthew 1:20 ), for 9 months ( prior to parturition/delivery ), His
Godhood, on the other hand, which indwelt His Manhood/Flesh, came from of old/antiquity,
i.e., from everlasting/eternity/infinity. Habakkuk 1:12A had to declare, “Art Thou not from
everlasting, O LORD my God, mine Holy One?” The Apostle Paul had to emphasize in
Hebrews 13:8, “Jesus Christ, the same yesterday, today and forever!” In other words, the
“Good” Lord Jesus is ever consistent and never changes. Why won’t He be? He is the ever
faithful God ( Deuteronomy 7:9 )! Therefore, whatever He says, is as good as done!!! He
abides forever and is always consistent in disposition/character.
We are now on the Moral Attributes of God: 1. Holiness– The psalmist had to sing in
Psalm 99:9, “Exalt/praise the LORD our God, and worship at His holy hill; for the LORD our
God is holy.” Habakkuk 1:13 reckons, “LORD, Thou art of purer eyes than to behold evil, and
canst not look on iniquity/sin/transgression: wherefore lookest Thou upon them that deal
treacherously/deceitfully/falsely, and holdest Thy tongue when the wicked devoureth/consumes
/destroys the man that is more righteous than he?” In effect, what the passage is saying, is that,
“The LORD Jesus cannot withstand/endure /ignore wickedness, for He is holy. He cannot
accept or neglect sin. He intently beholds those who deal deceitfully and gets displeased when
the bad destroys a man of integrity.” Peter, the Apostle had to account in I Peter 1:15-16, “But
as He ( the Lord Jesus ) which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of
conversation; Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy.” The LORD Jesus spoke in
Leviticus 11:44A, B & C, “… I am the LORD your God: ye shall therefore sanctify/hallow/
purify yourselves, and ye shall be holy; for I am holy.” Since the God we serve, the Lord Jesus
Christ, is pure and holy, He in turn, demands holiness from us, His servants. 2.
Righteousness and Justice– Psalm 116:5A declares, “Gracious is the LORD & righteous.”
Psalm 145:17 points out, “The LORD is righteous in all His ways, and holy in all His works.”
Moses, the servant of the Lord Jesus, had to stress in Deuteronomy 32:3-4, “Because I will
publish/proclaim the name of the LORD: ascribe/attribute ye greatness unto our God. He is the
Rock ( I Corinthians 10:1-4 ). His work is perfect: for all His ways are judgment: a God of
truth and without iniquity/sin, just and right is He.” The Lord Jesus Christ, being righteous and
just, demands righteousness and justice from us. 3. Lovingkindness and Mercy– The
Apostle Paul states in Romans 5:8, “… God commendeth/demonstrates His love toward us, in
that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.” He had to say as well, in Ephesians 2:4-5,
“But God, who is rich in mercy, for His great love, wherewith He loved us, even when we were
dead in sins, hath quickened us ( made us alive ) together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;)”
The psalmist had to sing, “How excellent is Thy lovingkindness, O God! Therefore the children
of men put their trust under the shadow of thy wings.”- Psalm 36:7; Isaiah had to say, “I will
mention the lovingkindnesses of the LORD, and the praises of the LORD, according to all that
the LORD hath bestowed on us, and the great goodness toward the house of Israel, which He
hath bestowed/granted/given on them according to His mercies, and according to the multitude
of His lovingkindnesses.”- Isaiah 63:7; Jeremiah had to account what the LORD had to say,
“ But let him that glorieth glory in this, that he understandeth and knoweth Me, that I am the
LORD which exercise lovingkindness, judgment, and righteousness, in the earth: for in these
things I delight, saith the LORD.”- Jeremiah 9:24; Again, the psalmist sings, “The LORD is
merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and plenteous in mercy.”- Psalm 103:8; The Apostle
Peter had to reckon, “The Lord is not slack/negligent concerning His promise, as some men
count slackness/negligence; but is longsuffering/patient to us-ward, not willing that any should
perish/suffer, but that all should come to repentance.”- II Peter 3:9; Paul the Apostle had to
say, “… despisest/hate thou the riches of God’s goodness/kindness and forbearance/self-
control and longsuffering/patience; not knowing that the goodness of God leadeth thee to
repentance?”- Romans 2:4; Let us all savor/taste and see the goodness of the Lord! His loving-
kindnesses and tender mercies, are incomparable!!!- Psalm 34:8; 4. Perfect in love– Surely,
surely, the God we have, is a God of love! – I John 4:9-10; The once and for all sacrifice of the
sinless Manhood, of our Lord Jesus Christ, on the cross, was the highest expression/display/
demonstration, of God’s love for us. Conclusion: If God so loved us, we ought also to love one
another!!!- I John 4:11, 8, 16;
The inexhaustible grace/favor and blessings, of the Almighty, “Good” Lord God the Son, Jesus the Christ, Incarnate, Perfect Man and All in all, be upon us all, as we get to commit/devote, and subject/submit, as well as surrender/totally yield, our all, to Him.
Closing Prayer: Good Lord Jesus, thank You for all the lessons we learned today. Truly,
Your word, is a lamp unto our feet, and a light unto our paths. Your words direct our footsteps,
so that our walk would be in line, with Your perfect will ( Romans 12:2 ). We come to You in
faith, believing, that You will always be there, to meet us all, exactly at the point of our need. For
true enough, they that come to You, must believe that You are there, and that You are a
rewarder of all them, that diligently seek You. You are all- knowing! You are all- powerful! You
are present everywhere, and a very present help, even in times, of trouble. You are limited by
nothing, and You are forever the same, the ever faithful God. Holiness is in Your presence, and
You are ever righteous and just, showing lovingkindness and tender mercies. And most of all,
Your love is faultless. Make us always Your people, and always be our God! All these we ask, in
Your most precious Name, Lord Jesus! Amen!!!
