Held on the 2nd Friday of December, 2007 with the assistance of Lions Club Host of Pasig through the Secretary, Mr. Ding Raynon in the distribution of gifts and reading glassess to 100 inmates.
I am looking for information on visiting protocols, times and rules for persons visiting inmates held at the Correctional Institute for Women in Mandaluyong City.
Additionally, I would be grateful for any information and guidance on what individual prisoners facing lengthy sentences are permitted to receive from visitors – e.g. toiletries, make-up, food, writing/learning material, etc.
Similarly, advice on what prisoners are likely to need and value most would be helpful.
Also, please advise what restrictions/rules are applied relating to prisoners receiving cash, cell phones.
Greetings in the name of our Lord Jesus! There are few forms of recreation in the CIFW, but I have observed them playing billiards, group dancing, playing drama and also they busy themselves by doing some cottage products like fan, religious items, etc. I think playing cards are not allowed. Maybe if somebody will donate chessboards and other mind games, they will gladly accept them. Anyway, you are always welcome to be our guest so you yourself can see their daily activities there, just remember every 2nd friday of the month and the time starts at 1:00 pm until 3:00. Lord Jesus bless.
glad those women received some help. they really need it.
may i ask if you can give me a good picture of what forms of recreation do the inmates do inside and what are their recreational facilities?? i had a chance one time to visit them with my mom and they were really nice.
