Your LOVE Will Carry Me
“Your love, O LORD, reaches to the heavens.” Psalm 36:5
| From deepest depths, to highest heights, Your love will carry me!
From all the chains that serve to bind, Your love will set me free!
Whenever all my hopes dissolve, and darkness clouds my day, Your love shines bright, and gives me light, so I may find my way.
What I have done to deserve Your love is still a mystery, But gives me strength to fight my foes and seals my victory!
Your teeming love is endless; its greatness knows no bounds. I see it grow in others, until Your love surrounds.
Your love is an example for all the world to see. I cannot help but love You back, my love I give to Thee!
Your love is like a flower, it buds, it blooms, it grows, And then becomes a wondrous beauty, splendrous as a rose.
Your mighty love can conquer, it lifts me from despair. Your love brings hope, I learn to cope: it’s truly meant to share!
Where does this love come from, this love that’s so divine? Your love is pure, of this I’m sure, it stands the test of time.
I cannot earn or buy it, it is by You bestowed. Your feast of love does feed my heart with seeds of love You sowed.
Because my future’s brighter, my soul has been restored. I see life in a different light, my sinful past’s ignored.
Where I would be without Your love, I dare not contemplate! I pray the world will seek Your love before it is too late.
I thank you for Your love to me, this gift You give so free. When I am down and gloom abounds, Your love will carry me!
